Hi, I'm William. I am, summarily, someone who loves to learn. This is what I want to claim as closer to my identity than anything else. In all aspects of whatever I love, I realize that what I love is in the learning. It's such a special process, starting with the recognition that nothing should be taken for granted, that there is always something more to know. In running, in chess, in music, in life, in other people, in self — that there is something more to learn is what makes all things ever interesting. It is an absolute privilege to live in a world where this is true, and a greater privilege still to view the world from this perspective. Inspired by this love of learning, I hope to always approach life with deep curiosity, with continuous wonder, with humility, and with gratefulness.
