Hi, I'm William. I'm a 2023 graduate from Williams College who majored in philosophy. Somehow, immediately after graduating, I found myself a job in IT. Although this may seem surprising, I think there is significant overlap between philosophy and IT. Both require logic, and in that groundwork of logic rises a familiar determinism. I've been working in IT for three years, and so far I have appreciated the continuous learning that has come with the work. Now, I am applying to graduate programs with a start date in Fall 2028. I am particularly interested in the field of information science and how technology (and most recently, AI) can accelerate the transmission of knowledge.
